Italian conductor and pianist Giuseppe has appeared as a performer in prestigious venues such as the Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and Berlin Philharmonie. 

He is currently musical assistant to Daniel Barenboim at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, and has been a guest musical assistant at the Wiener Staatsoper, Metropolitan Opera, Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, The Juilliard School, and Manhattan School of Music. He worked with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, James Levine, Zubin Mehta, Myung-Whun Chung, James Conlon, Marco Armiliato and Manfred Honeck.

In the season 2021-2022, Giuseppe Mentuccia debuts at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden with Die Zauberflöte, and will conduct a program in the Boulez Ensemble Series featuring Italian composers from Vivaldi to Francesconi. He is on the faculty of the Barenboim Said Akademie as conductor of the Barenboim Said Akademie Orchestra and also serves as the music director of the Opernkinderorchester at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden…
